My November Vermont Photos
A late season Indian Summer embraced Vermont this November weekend, giving a rare sunny treat to what is usually an incredibly cloudy, damp, chilly month.
People were outside in droves yesterday, getting in the last of their yard clean up, or hiking, running, biking, anything to enjoy the last of the year’s warmth.
The brown tree branches, some still with fading leaves, the yellowing grass and the low sunshine brought a beautiful golden light to the afternoons.
The photos in this blog are ones I took of ornamental grasses, now frostbitten, gathering the light of the late afternoon sunshine Saturday in South Burlington.
Today, we’re forecast to get one more day of warm-ish sun, before the usual clouds and dampness return to bring November back to the darkness we’re used to seeing
