As most of you probably know all too well, I like big, wet windy thunderstorms.
So I regret that the season for these storms as passing, as they start to become less likely in Vermont as we head into late August and September. Still, we might get a few more. There were some moderate storms this morning, as you can see of the video I shot of the corner of College and Church streets in Burlington, Vermont around 10 a.m.
There’s more storms brewing in New York State, so maybe we’ll get another one today. Yes, I’m a sicko because I wish for bad weather. But for the record, I like blue, sunny skies, too, the kind that is now appearing over Burlington now that the storm has passed.
Even if thunderstorm season is about to end, there’s still something to look forward to. It’s the start of hurricane season, and sometimes the remnants of these tropical storms cause some drama in Vermont. So there’s hope.
