I’m The Paparazzi

I think it’s more fun to look at pictures of regular people doing regular things than looking at celebrities on red carpets.

So I played the role of real people paparazzi on Saturday

A random wedding party waltzes through Burlington's Battery Park Saturday

I liked the wedding party in Battery Park, walking past a view of Lake Champlain. Looks formal, even as a festival featuring people in very casual clothes went on in the rest of the park.

The second two shots are people looking in at what are known as bears. Bears, who are generally hairy gay men, gathered at Burlington’s Red Square as part of Vermont’s gay pride celebration.

Some passersby on Burlington's Church Street look in confusingly at a 'bear" Gay Pride party at Red Square Saturday.

Passersby looked in on the “bear cage” and didn’t know quite what to make of them. Some people seemed amused, while others seemed not to approve.

Ahh. Human nature at work.

A man tries to figure out what to make of a gay pride party Saturday at Red Square in Burlington.
