More Summer Vermont Pics

Around every corner it seems, you find some beauty during the height of summer in Vermont. A couple minor examples that I found in the past few days:

Evening sunlight filters through the treetops in my backyard as a summer sun shower gets underway.

Flowers, ferns and rocks next to a Bolton, Vermont brook, July 5, 2010.

Vegetation, some intentionally planted, others wild, grow near a Bolton, Vermont brook, July 5, 2010.

Matt… if you haven’t already been there, Peacham Bog in Groton has some very cool Pitcher plants growing around the walkways into the bog. I always like to flip up their tops and peer into the chute and look at the dead bugs floating in the liquid killing broth at the bottom. Its wierd but kind of cool.
